TL;DR - I did

  • Created a set of personal social media banners for Twitch and Twitter
  • The banners were designed to be visually appealing and contain my favorite characters
  • Used a blue color palette and snowflake particles for the Genshin Impact banner
  • Used a pink color palette and magic particles for the League of Legends banner

Description

For my personal use, I created a set of banners that I used on different platforms which featured my favorite characters from different games. The goal was to have a set of banners that were visually appealing and contained my favorite characters in a way that they were recognizable for the viewer.

Banner featuring Kamisato Ayaka from Genshin Impact The first banner featured the character “Kamisato Ayaka” from the game “Genshin Impact”. She utilizes a sword and ice abilities in the game which I wanted to emphasize in the banner. Hence, the banner was designed to appear cold and icy with a blue color palette and snowflake particles falling in the background. The character was placed on the right side of the banner to make her the focal point of the banner. Her name was placed behind her to make the character more recognizable for the viewer. My social media name was placed on the right with a cloud to enhance the feeling of coldness. The font was chosen to appear elegant and feudal Japan-like since the character is from a Japanese-inspired region in the game.

Banner featuring Ahri from League of Legends The second banner featured the character “Ahri” from the game “League of Legends”. She is a fox-like character that uses magic abilities in the game to charm her enemies which I wanted to emphasize in the banner. Hence, the banner was designed to appear magical and charming with a pink color palette and magic particles floating in the background. The character was placed on the right side of the banner to make her the focal point of the banner. A focal blur was additionally added to strenghten the focus on the character. My social media name was placed on the left with a heart to enhance the feeling of charm.
